Recruiter Trainee
Recruiter Trainee Program is a comprehensive training program designed to develop fundamental recruiting skills: sourcing, screening, selecting, and placing. New recruiters learn from experienced leaders and team members to gain the knowledge, tools, and resources needed for success.
About the role
During the training period (typically the first 13 weeks), Recruiter Trainees are considered non-exempt employees and compensated at an hourly rate of $21.26. Overtime may be available at leadership discretion. After successful completion, you will be promoted to Recruiter 1 as an exempt employee with a salary of $52,500 and uncapped commission earning potential.
A typical day includes managing a diverse workload across recruiting, operations, reporting, and meetings. You will collaborate in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with shared phone coverage and rapid response expectations, prioritize premium roles, and maintain high-value candidate pipelines. Responsibilities also include leveraging recruitment technologies to source and engage candidates, supporting incoming calls from healthcare professionals and clients, and navigating the full onboarding workflow while developing familiarity with Amergis requirements.

Training period: $21.26/hour (non-exempt). After promotion: $52,500/year salary (exempt) with uncapped commission potential.
