Recruiter Supervisor

About the role

Penn State Human Resources is seeking a team-oriented self-starter to join the talent acquisition organization. The Recruiter‑Senior Supervisor will report to the Manager Full‑Time Talent Acquisition and will be embedded in The Applied Research Laboratory (ARL). This is a dual‑role position responsible for supervising, mentoring, and guiding a team of Recruiters and Talent Acquisition Specialists throughout the full talent acquisition life cycle. The role will also manage a requisition workload and serve as a talent advisor to hiring managers, with a strong focus on sourcing candidates and building talent pipelines. This role is a member of the talent acquisition leadership team and is responsible for ensuring individual contributor SLAs are achieved as well as resolving escalated issues from team members. ARL is an integral part of one of the leading research universities in the nation and serves as a University Center of Excellence in Defense science, systems, and technologies with a focus in naval missions and related areas. As a UARC (
