Responsibilities
- Consults with HR Business Partners and management to create appropriate recruitment planning models and to ensure ongoing alignment with workforce needs while filling open positions based on employment requisitions.
- Ensures staffing requirements are maintained within budget guidelines and according to federal and state regulations, and HR policies/Affirmative Action Plan (AAP) guidelines.
- Coordinates the selection, validation, and implementation of appropriate testing.
- Reviews, selects and interviews internal and external applicants and recommends qualified candidates for open positions in line with Affirmative Action Plan (AAP) requirements and federal and state employment requirements.
- Manages advertising budget and works within the approved budget guidelines.
- Collaborates with Human Resource staff and management and provides guidance regarding internal position transfers, promotions, and demotions based on AAP guidelines and HR policies.
- Maintains ongoing focus on teamwork and communication to improve processes that ensure efficiency and cost effective HR services.
- Serves as a resource to HR staff for complex employment questions.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in human resources, business, or related field preferred.
- A minimum of 4 years of equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
- 4-6 years of progressive human resource experience in a high volume, fast-paced recruitment environment which includes using behavioral interviewing techniques and working in partnership with business leaders and employees to support the execution of organizational goals and objectives required.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook) required.
- Experience with integrated Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) and talent/recruitment management systems preferred.
- Previous experience in a health care work environment preferred.
