About the role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Recruiter to join our team remotely. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in pursuing a career in Human Resources or Talent Acquisition. The successful candidate will support our volunteer recruitment initiatives, helping to attract passionate individuals committed to our mission. Responsibilities
- Post and promote volunteer opportunities across various platforms
- Source potential volunteer candidates using Boolean search and other sourcing techniques
- Screen volunteer applications and conduct initial assessments
- Coordinate interview schedules and facilitate communication between candidates and team members
- Maintain accurate records of candidates and recruitment activities within ATS/CRM systems
- Support onboarding processes for new volunteers, including documentation and orientation
- Assist with future staff hiring initiatives as the organization grows
- Provide regular updates and feedback to candidates and internal stakeholders
- Contribute to the development of recruitment strategies and best practices
Qualifications
- Previous experience in HR, recruiting, or administrative roles preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Familiarity with ATS (Applicant Tracking System) or CRM systems
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for ethical AI, education, and youth empowerment
- Basic understanding of recruitment processes and candidate sourcing techniques
