Recruiter / HR Specialist

About the role

Gameway is seeking a proactive Recruiter/HR Specialist to attract, hire, and support exceptional team members across multiple states. In this role you will lead recruiting efforts while supporting key HR functions that help our teams succeed, including talent identification, hiring process management, employee lifecycle activities, compliance, and culture strengthening.

Responsibilities

• Lead full‑cycle recruiting for various roles across multiple locations.
• Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and execute effective recruitment strategies.
• Source, screen, interview, and evaluate candidates while maintaining a strong candidate experience.
• Create and maintain job postings on recruiting platforms and build talent pipelines.
• Track recruiting metrics, hiring progress, and workforce trends.
• Support employer branding, recruiting events, and talent attraction initiatives.
• Manage onboarding and off‑boarding processes to ensure a positive employee experience.
• Support training, employee development, and engagement programs.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Perform additional HR and administrative duties as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• Three (3) years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, human resources, or a related role.
• Demonstrated experience managing full‑cycle recruiting processes.
• Experience sourcing candidates through job boards, social media, networking, and referral programs.
• Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms.
• Strong knowledge of HR fundamentals, including onboarding, training, and compliance.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship‑building skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
• High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential employee information.
• Detail‑oriented with a proactive, solution‑focused mindset.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, multi‑location environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience recruiting for hospitality, retail, food & beverage, entertainment, or multi‑location operations.
• SHRM‑CP, PHR, Talent Acquisition certification, or equivalent credentials.
• Experience developing recruiting strategies and workforce planning initiatives.

Pay

$55,000 – $60,000 per year

Schedule

Full‑time, 40 hours per week; 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM; schedule varies based on organizational needs and priorities.
