HR Specialist - Recruiter

About the Role

Lighthouse Youth & Family Services is looking for an enthusiastic HR Specialist - Recruiter to help attract, engage, and hire exceptional talent who are passionate about making a difference. This role is based in Cincinnati, OH, with a pay rate of $23.73/hr.

Responsibilities

• Find amazing candidates through job boards, networking, referrals, social media, and creative sourcing strategies
• Manage the full hiring journey from posting jobs and screening candidates to coordinating interviews and extending offers
• Partner with managers to understand staffing needs and develop winning recruiting strategies
• Create an outstanding candidate experience that leaves applicants feeling valued and informed
• Build talent pipelines for current and future opportunities
• Track recruiting metrics and help continuously improve the hiring process
• Support onboarding and other HR initiatives to ensure new team members get off to a great start
• Keep the ATS and HR systems organized, accurate, and up to date

Qualifications

• 3+ years of recruiting and/or HR experience
• Enjoy talking to people and building relationships
• Can balance multiple openings, deadlines, and priorities
• Experience using an ATS, HRIS, LinkedIn, and other recruiting tools
• Understand employment laws and recruiting best practices
• Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented
• Love solving problems and finding creative ways to attract talent

Preferred Qualifications

• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or similar certification
• Experience with high-volume recruiting
• Strong sourcing and talent pipeline development skills
• Experience with recruiting analytics and reporting
