Recruiter, Hourly Field (Region Remote: Central/Eastern Region)
About the role
Field Recruiters are accountable for sourcing high-potential, high-performance candidate slates for our hourly Field roles (primarily Driver & Selector positions). They support the full recruiting lifecycle, including client relationship management. The ability to source and attract passive candidates is key, using a variety of tools and resources ranging from grassroots to social media. The Field Recruiter cultivates relationships with both internal and external customers in the recruiting process. This position is segmented as Region Remote, meaning you must travel to multiple sites as needed and live within the assigned Region or a bordering state of the physical location. This position will support the Eastern or Central Region.
Responsibilities
- Establish and build effective relationships with hiring managers and HR business partners at all levels of the organization, including senior leaders, to understand business priorities, recruiting challenges, and position requirements.
- Partner with hiring managers to develop and execute an adaptable and flexible recruiting plan, including sourcing, pre-qualifying, and closing offers with desired candidates to meet changing business needs.
- Source, screen, qualify, and interview prospective candidates for targeted areas and make hiring recommendations.
- Track results while ensuring compliance with company policy and/or established regulatory requirements at all times.
- Promote US Foods as the employer of choice to all potential candidates by providing up-to-date information.
- Target recruitment programs to increase the company's diversity representation throughout the country (e.g., referral campaigns, on-site hiring events).
- Manage candidate slates, including ongoing communication, interview and travel itineraries, and maintaining appropriate candidate follow-up during the process.
- Manage the offer process and track acceptance/turn-downs.
- Stay informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques to remain competitive in the industry and meet hiring goals/objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years in full-lifecycle recruiting for professional positions at all levels, including sourcing, assessing, qualifying, and interviewing candidates in a corporate recruiting role; prior agency experience preferred.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience successfully sourcing and identifying top talent through various methods, including LinkedIn, social media, internet, job boards, and niche sites.
- High level of proficiency with all Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Skills
- Strong ability to successfully cold call and source talent using Boolean search techniques.
- Experience with a web-based applicant tracking system preferred (Taleo/Workday).

Pay
The expected base rate for this role is between $65,000 and $105,000, depending on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law.
