Responsibilities

  • Establishes and builds effective and successful relationships with hiring managers and HR business partners.
  • Partners with hiring managers to develop and execute an adaptable and flexible recruiting plan.
  • Sources, screens, qualifies, and interviews prospective candidates.
  • Makes hiring recommendations based on the identified needs.
  • Tracks results while ensuring compliance with company policy and/or established regulatory requirements.
  • Promotes US Foods as the employer of choice to all potential candidates.
  • Manages candidate slates, including on-going communication, interview and travel itineraries, and maintaining appropriate candidate follow-up.
  • Manages the offer process and tracks acceptance/turn downs.
  • Stays informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years in full-lifecycle recruiting for professional positions at all levels.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience successfully sourcing and identifying top talent through various methods including LinkedIn, social media, internet, job boards, niche sites, etc.
  • High level of proficiency with all Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Strong ability to successfully cold call, and source talent using Boolean search techniques.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in full-lifecycle recruiting for professional positions at all levels including sourcing, assessing, qualifying and interviewing candidates in a corporate recruiting role; prior agency experience preferred.

Skills

  • Experience with use of a web-based applicant tracking system preferred (Taleo/Workday).

Pay

Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law (for example: state or local minimum wage thresholds). The expected base rate for this role is between $65,000 - $105,000.

Schedule

The position is Region Remote, meaning one must travel to multiple sites as needed and live within the assigned Region or a bordering state of the physical location. This position will support the Eastern or Central Region.
