About the Role
This position works in a comfortable office setting, facilitating and executing end-to-end recruitment with a focus on matching exceptional and qualified applicants to open positions. The role specializes in recruitment efforts for the Circle of Life Personal Caregiving service line and provides secondary support for other relevant recruitment activities. The position also involves cross-training and support for other HR discipline efforts.
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
Responsibilities
- Personal Care Recruitment: Serve as the primary recruiter for the Personal Caregiving service line, including:
- Recruitment Planning: Gain a clear understanding of recruitment needs through research, collaboration with hiring managers, shadowing, and other appropriate methods.
- Recruitment Sourcing: Execute position postings on the company website and external job boards. Proactively search for candidates using resume banks, social media, and in-person events.
- Recruitment Screening: Screen applicants for culture fit, dependability, skills, and the ability to make human connections. Analyze tenure, relevant experience, and apply strategic questioning before in-person interviews.
- Position Promotion: Use verbal and written communication to promote favorable aspects and benefits of posted positions.
- Position Fitness Verification: Verify alignment of pay expectations, schedule desires, physical abilities, and motivations. Assess and verify soft skills through phone conversations, text messaging, and online sources.
- Recruitment Interview Coordination: Schedule in-person and occasional remote interviews, collaborating with hiring managers to adjust schedules as needed.
- Recruitment Interview Follow-Up: Communicate quickly and effectively with candidates regarding selection or non-selection. Add justification notes to ATS records for non-selected candidates.
- Offer Coordination: Review prospective offers with HR or Personal Care leadership. Extend offers, review fringe benefits, and collaborate on start dates.
- Transition and Onboarding: Assist with onboarding activities such as background screening, drug screen coordination, professional reference checks, and orientation activities.
- Apply and demonstrate the following soft skills in all duties:

- Support all other HR department projects and functions as needed.
- Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and patience when interacting with patients, families, co-workers, and the public.
- Represent Circle of Life positively in the community.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years in a Recruitment role, preferably healthcare or human service-related.
- Working knowledge of sourcing, screening, offer generation, and placement strategies.
- Demonstrated experience with recruitment software and applications, including job boards, ATS, and HRIS.
- Strong multi-tasking skills and the ability to prioritize a large workload.
- Demonstrated experience in roles where human connection is essential, both over the phone and in person.
