About the role
The Y Recruiter contributes to the Y's mission by developing, implementing, and supporting sourcing and recruitment efforts for internal and external candidates. This role involves establishing relationships with various organizations to enhance applicant flow, ensuring compliance with employment laws, coordinating the job posting process, monitoring associate onboarding, and assisting in retention efforts.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sourcing and recruitment strategies for internal and external candidates
- Partner with hiring managers to develop effective recruitment plans
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to employment practices
- Coordinate and support the job posting process
- Maintain and monitor the onboarding of new associates
- Aid in retention efforts
- Work collaboratively with hiring managers to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies
- Manage candidate tracking systems
Requirements
- At least 5 years of full life-cycle recruiting experience with proven sales, cold-calling, or lead generation techniques
- Prior experience working in candidate tracking systems
- Prior experience working for an organization providing programs and/or services for early childhood education (preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Early Childhood Education, Education, Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or a related field (preferred)
Qualifications
- Agreement to abide by The Code of Conduct with Youth, emphasizing respect, fairness, and adherence to established standards of affection
- Completion of training on child abuse prevention and compliance with legal reporting requirements
Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in candidate tracking systems and job posting platforms
- Experience in early childhood education is preferred but not required
