Responsibilities

  • Manage the full-cycle recruiting process for hourly and salaried positions, including field operations roles
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and job requirements
  • Develop creative sourcing strategies to attract candidates in competitive labor markets
  • Sources candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, and industry networks
  • Screens resumes and conducts phone interviews to assess candidate qualifications
  • Cohort interviews and facilitate communication between candidates and hiring teams
  • Maintain a strong pipeline of skilled trades and equipment operator candidates
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process
  • Track recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill and cost-per-hire
  • Occasionally travel to job sites, career fairs, or hiring events as needed
  • Maintain compliance with employment laws and company hiring practices

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in construction, mining, or industrial sectors
  • Experience recruiting for skilled trades or heavy equipment roles preferred
  • Strong sourcing and networking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple open requisitions in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and recruiting platforms
  • Experience in high-volume or field-based recruiting
  • Familiarity with mining or construction workforce challenges
  • Ability to travel to remote job sites
  • HR or recruiting certifications (SHRM, PHR, etc.)
