Responsibilities
- Partner with hiring managers to understand headcount needs, refine job requisitions, create targeted job postings, and align on hiring strategies and interview feedback.
- Source skilled talent using innovative strategies, including LinkedIn, industry networks, trade schools, and vocational programs.
- Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and present qualified candidates to hiring managers with clear recommendations.
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including coordinating onsite interviews, candidate tours, offer negotiations, and background checks.
- Identify recruitment challenges in hiring and propose actionable solutions to streamline processes.
- Train hiring managers and team members on best practices for recruiting and interviewing candidates.
- Organize and execute recruitment events, such as job fairs, facility tours, or virtual webinars.
- Build relationships with diverse talent networks, trade unions, and industry associations to enhance candidate pipelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of recruiting experience, preferably with a focus on construction, manufacturing, or skilled trade roles.
- Proven track record as an in-house or agency recruiter in high-volume, fast-paced environments.
Qualifications
- Expertise in non-traditional sourcing methods, such as targeted LinkedIn campaigns, industry events, or partnerships with apprenticeship programs.
- Strong ability to distinguish top-tier talent (e.g., top 5% vs. top 50%) in production fields.
- Excellent relationship-building skills with hiring managers, including Director and VP-level leaders.
