Overview The Recruiter is responsible for attracting, sourcing, and hiring top talent to support the organization's workforce needs and business objectives. This position partners closely with hiring managers to understand staffing requirements, develop effective recruitment strategies, and manage the full-cycle recruiting process from candidate-sourcing through onboarding. The Recruiter serves as an ambassador for the company's culture and employer brand, ensuring a positive candidate experience while identifying qualified individuals who align with organizational values and performance expectations. The ideal candidate possesses strong communication and relationship-building skills, the ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment, and a proactive approach to talent acquisition. This role utilizes various sourcing methods, recruitment technologies, and networking strategies to build talent pipelines and support current and future hiring needs. Reports To: Director of Human Resources Department: Human Resources Job Status: Exempt Responsibilities Manage full-cycle recruiting activities, including requisition intake, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer preparation, and onboarding support. Partner with hiring managers to determine staffing needs, position requirements, and recruitment strategies. Source candidates through job boards, social media platforms, employee referrals, networking events, career fairs, and other recruiting channels. Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates. Conduct phone screens and interviews to assess candidate qualifications, skills, and culture fit. Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring teams. Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process. Develop and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs. Create and post job advertisements that effectively market employment opportunities. Track and maintain candidate information within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Prepare offer letters and facilitate pre-employment processes including background checks, references, and onboarding documentation. Monitor recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, source effectiveness, candidate conversion rates, and hiring manager satisfaction. Promote and protect the organization's employer brand. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Participate in workforce planning initiatives and recruiting process improvements. Attend recruitment events, job fairs, and community outreach activities as needed. Support other Human Resources initiatives and projects as assigned. Qualifications Qualifications Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum one year of recruiting, talent acquisition, staffing, or Human Resources experience preferred. Knowledge of recruiting best practices and employment laws. Experience using HRIS/Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruiting technologies. Paycom experience preferred.Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Customer-service mindset with a focus on creating a positive candidate experienceAbility to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
