Recruiter

Recruitomics Consulting is a small recruiting firm running full-cycle searches for growing companies across operations, finance, HR, marketing, and product roles. We are hiring a contract Recruiter to own the candidate side of this work.

About the role

This is a candidate-facing, part-time contract position. You will source, screen, run phone screens, and manage candidate communication across several clients simultaneously. You will decide who moves forward based on filters we establish together for each role. We aim to reduce cognitive load for hiring teams by triaging and interviewing candidates thoughtfully, providing exceptional feedback and recommendations.

Our recruiting relies heavily on automations built in Claude Code, with Notion as our system of record. Additional tools include Missive (email collaboration), Slack, and Juicebox (candidate sourcing/outreach). You do not need prior experience with these tools but must be comfortable learning unfamiliar systems independently.

Responsibilities

• Source candidates across several open roles at once, using LinkedIn and your own methods.
• Triage inbound applicants against the written requirements for each role.
• Conduct 15-minute phone screens and document key takeaways.
• Own candidate email communication end-to-end, including follow-ups and difficult conversations.
• Decide which candidates advance or do not advance, based on role-specific filters.
• Maintain accurate Notion records to ensure automations function correctly.
• Use and improve AI workflows that support all recruiting activities.

Requirements

• Full-cycle recruiting experience across multiple roles simultaneously, in an agency, RPO, or embedded team.
• Hands-on sourcing experience.
• Experience conducting high-volume phone screens with independent judgment.
• Comfort using AI tools as part of your workflow (Claude Code experience is a plus).
• Strong writing skills, capable of handling candidate correspondence with minimal oversight.
• Clear spoken English for phone screens with US-based candidates.
• Ability to invoice as an independent contractor.

Pay

$18 to $40 per hour, depending on experience.

Schedule

Contract role starting at 10 to 20 hours per week. Fully remote, with preference for candidates who can overlap substantially with US business hours (East Coast to West Coast).
