About the role

LUV Car Wash is growing rapidly, with nearly 90 locations across six states since launching in September 2021. The Recruiter will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified talent. You’ll also oversee and audit the onboarding process to ensure compliance. This role reports to the Director of HR and requires up to 25% travel.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, facilitate, and implement all phases of the recruitment process.
  • Collaborate with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
  • Identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the role, industry standards, and organizational needs.
  • Assist with job posting and advertisement processes.
  • Screen applications and select qualified candidates.
  • Schedule interviews; prepare interview questions and other hiring materials.
  • Assist with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and HR during the offer process, recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other details.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
  • Attend and participate in college job fairs and recruiting sessions.
  • Manage the onboarding process and support field General Managers; audit I-9s and new hire profiles.
  • Assist with HR projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with effective negotiation tactics.
  • Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment across various roles.
  • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
  • Proficient with applicant-tracking software or the ability to quickly learn recruitment systems.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office; Paylocity knowledge a plus.
  • SHRM-CP or HRCI certification is a plus.
