Lunch Bunch is on a mission to change kids' nutrition and access to knowledge about healthy eating—and ultimately influence the role food can play in educating kids in a fun, creative, inspiring way. We partner with schools to offer unique enrichment programming where food serves as the foundation for learning culinary arts & cooking, entrepreneurship, STEM skills, health and fitness, world history, and more. The curricula are thoughtfully designed to incorporate multicultural learning, align with school core curricula, and build healthy habits that last a lifetime.

About the Role

The Recruiter is responsible for recruiting culinary enrichment teachers, support staff, and supporting the HR Department.

Responsibilities

• Utilize creative strategies to network, search for, and identify suitable candidates for teaching and school‑related positions.
• Review candidate pipeline and schedule interviews.
• Ensure all employees meet the qualifications and compliance requirements of their assigned roles, including submission of required documentation such as TB test results, valid ServSafe certification, Live Scan background clearance, and any other role‑specific credentials.
• Collaborate with the HR team to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
• Coordinate interviews with internal team and manage the recruitment process.
• Prioritize job orders based on educational needs and submission deadlines for optimal success.
• Maintain clear and professional communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process to ensure a positive experience.
• Work with a sense of urgency and dedication to achieve objectives.

Additional Administrative Duties

• Assist HR and various departments with projects.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized, with the ability to multitask and manage various responsibilities under strict deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Flexible & can‑do attitude – we’re a high‑growth start‑up!
• Experience in educational recruitment (preferred).

Compensation & Benefits

$25 hourly with 401(k) and a monthly cell phone & internet stipend.
