RECRUITER

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize various sourcing methods provided by the company.
• Maintain a pipeline of qualified driver candidates for current and future hiring needs.
• Conduct initial phone screenings and interviews to assess candidates' qualifications and suitability.
• Verify CDL licenses, endorsements, work experience, and safety records.
• Coordinate background checks, drug screening, and other pre-employment requirements.
• Facilitate the application and onboarding process, ensuring compliance with DOT and company regulations.
• Build and maintain relationships with driving schools.
• Engage with current drivers to promote referral programs and improve retention.
• Maintain communication with candidates throughout the hiring process to ensure a positive experience.
• Ensure all recruiting and hiring practices comply with DOT, FMSCA and company policies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in applicant tracking system (ATS).

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent required.
• A bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, or a related field preferred.
• 1-2 years of driver recruiting, transportation, or staffing industry experience preferred.
• Knowledge of CDL licensing requirements, DOT regulations, and FMCSA guidelines preferred.
• Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software is a plus.
