About the role

Hillendale Home Care is a trusted in-home care partner working with senior care clients and caregivers throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, and we're looking for a Recruiter to join our growing Santa Rosa team. Our Recruiters are responsible for attracting, engaging, and hiring qualified caregivers to support Hillendale Home Care's clients and continued growth. This role manages the full recruiting process while proactively building candidate pipelines, increasing caregiver referrals, and developing community partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full recruiting lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offers, pre-employment requirements, and onboarding coordination.
  • Proactively build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified caregivers to meet current and anticipated staffing needs.
  • Develop creative sourcing strategies through job boards, referrals, community partnerships, job fairs, schools, and other outreach channels.
  • Maintain consistent candidate outreach and follow-up to keep applicants engaged and moving through the hiring process.
  • Partner with Staffing Management to understand hiring priorities and focus recruiting efforts on harder-to-staff locations.
  • Own caregiver referral growth by promoting referral opportunities and building relationships with current employees and caregiver networks.
  • Develop community partnerships that create sustainable sources of caregiver candidates.
  • Manage job postings and maintain accurate candidate activity and records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Represent Hillendale at recruiting and community events while providing a professional and positive candidate experience.
  • Ensure recruiting practices comply with applicable employment laws, regulations, and Hillendale policies.
  • Travel periodically to our Marin County location to provide additional recruiting support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of recruiting and sourcing experience; high-volume recruiting experience preferred.
  • Home care, senior care, or healthcare recruiting experience preferred.
  • Strong sourcing, interviewing, candidate engagement, and pipeline management skills.
  • Proactive and results-driven with the ability to take ownership of hiring goals.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to develop referral and community partnerships.
  • Excellent communication, organization, time management, and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple recruiting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Google Workspace.
  • Ability to travel locally to our Marin County office, recruiting events and community outreach as needed.
