The Recruiter at Hayden Homes in Redmond, OR supports recruitment efforts across all departments within the company's family of brands. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, this role involves full-cycle recruiting, employer branding, process improvement, and supporting the Employee Experience team.

Responsibilities

  • Manages and executes full-cycle recruiting strategies, sourcing, screening, and selecting candidates aligned with company culture and business needs.
  • Builds and maintains strong talent pipelines through diverse sourcing channels, talent pools, and proactive database management.
  • Manages end-to-end candidate experience, including interviews, offers, background checks, onboarding support, and compliance with employment laws and company policies.
  • Leverages social media, recruiting platforms, and partnerships with marketing to attract top talent and engage in community outreach through job fairs, school partnerships, internships, and industry events.
  • Stays current on talent acquisition trends and identifies opportunities to enhance brand visibility and candidate engagement.
  • Affords assistance with the implementation of technologies and tools that optimize and streamline candidate tracking, communication, and assessment.
  • Collaborates cross-functionally to enhance hiring practices and ensure a consistent, high-quality recruitment process and seamless candidate experience.
  • Prioritizes daily and weekly tasks to align with the needs of the business and talent acquisition strategy.
  • Supports the preparation of recruiting dashboards and reports by maintaining and providing accurate data for metrics.
  • Might assist on the implementation and execution of Employee Experience team projects and goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum three years in-house, full cycle recruiting experience.
  • Specialized knowledge of local and federal recruitment regulations.
  • Working knowledge of ADP or other applicant tracking systems.
  • Knowledge and experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed Recruiter, and Handshake.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including: Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to understand and qualify job requirements and identify those requirements in candidate resumes and one-on-one interactions.
  • Ability to negotiate compensation packages with candidates based on market data.
  • Ability to interact with people from diverse backgrounds and skills sets and demonstrate a genuine interest in others.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to various audiences.
  • Ability to creatively solve problems and work under time constraints with minimal supervision.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Experience working in the construction industry recruiting is preferred.

  • An annual base salary between $65,000 and $75,000, quarterly bonuses, and annual profit sharing.
