Responsibilities

  • Sourcing & Pipeline Development
    • Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies for technical, operational, and corporate roles using job boards, LinkedIn, networking events, employee referrals, and other channels.
    • Build and maintain active pipelines for current and anticipated openings, with particular attention to hard-to-fill or specialized roles.
    • Represent Fervo at career fairs, university events, and professional networking opportunities to build brand awareness and candidate interest.
  • Screening & Interview Coordination
    • Review applications and conduct initial phone screens to assess qualifications, experience, and fit against role requirements.
    • Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring managers and interview panels, ensuring a smooth and professional candidate experience at every touchpoint.
    • Maintain clear and timely communication with candidates throughout the process, providing updates and managing expectations.
  • Hiring Manager Partnership
    • Partner with hiring managers at intake to align on role requirements, candidate profile, and process structure before requisitions go live.
    • Provide guidance on interview techniques, structured evaluation, and candidate assessment throughout the process.
    • Keep hiring managers informed with regular pipeline updates and flag process risks early.
  • Offer Management & Onboarding
    • Support offer construction and extension in partnership with the Talent Acquisition Manager, including compensation framing and negotiation.
    • Career onboarding logistics with People Operations to ensure a clean handoff and smooth new hire transition.
    • Maintain accurate requisition and candidate data in the ATS throughout the full recruiting lifecycle.

    Qualifications

    • Required:
      • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
      • 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in energy, infrastructure, or a similarly technical environment
      • Experience with applicant tracking systems and HRIS platforms
      • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple active requisitions simultaneously
      • Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills with a strong candidate experience orientation
      • Ability to work onsite at Fervo's downtown Houston office a minimum of 3 days per week
    • PREFERRED:
      • Experience recruiting for technical or engineering roles in the energy sector
      • Familiarity with compensation benchmarking tools and offer construction
      • Experience supporting or coordinating onboarding programs in partnership with an HR or People Operations function
      • Comfort working in a lean, fast-moving environment where process ownership and self-direction are expected
