About the role

The Recruiter will partner closely with the Senior recruiter, hiring managers and business leaders to attract, engage, and hire top talent. This individual will own full-cycle recruiting activities for a variety of professional and technical positions across consulting, utility operations, engineering, GIS, and project management functions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for contract, contract to hire and consulting positions
  • Conduct intake meetings with hiring managers to define hiring requirements and recruiting strategies
  • Source candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals, networking, and direct outreach
  • Screens and qualifies candidates through phone and video interviews
  • Coordinate interviews and facilitate candidate feedback with hiring teams
  • Develop and maintain talent pipelines for recurring and hard-to-fill roles
  • Present qualified candidates within established service level expectations
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process
  • Maintain accurate candidate records within the applicant tracking system
  • Partner with leadership on recruiting metrics, market trends, and talent availability
  • Support employer branding and talent attraction initiatives
  • Negotiate offers and manage candidate closing activities

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of full-cycle recruiting experience
  • Experience recruiting professional, technical, engineering, technology, consulting, or utility industry talent
  • Demonstrated success sourcing passive candidates
  • Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter and applicant tracking systems

Preferred Experience

  • Experience recruiting for utility, energy, IT, Technical and Business architecture, engineering, GIS, project management, or consulting organizations
  • Experience supporting both contract and permanent hiring
  • Familiarity with California employment practices
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
