About the role
The Recruiter will partner closely with the Senior recruiter, hiring managers and business leaders to attract, engage, and hire top talent. This individual will own full-cycle recruiting activities for a variety of professional and technical positions across consulting, utility operations, engineering, GIS, and project management functions.
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for contract, contract to hire and consulting positions
- Conduct intake meetings with hiring managers to define hiring requirements and recruiting strategies
- Source candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals, networking, and direct outreach
- Screens and qualifies candidates through phone and video interviews
- Coordinate interviews and facilitate candidate feedback with hiring teams
- Develop and maintain talent pipelines for recurring and hard-to-fill roles
- Present qualified candidates within established service level expectations
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process
- Maintain accurate candidate records within the applicant tracking system
- Partner with leadership on recruiting metrics, market trends, and talent availability
- Support employer branding and talent attraction initiatives
- Negotiate offers and manage candidate closing activities
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of full-cycle recruiting experience
- Experience recruiting professional, technical, engineering, technology, consulting, or utility industry talent
- Demonstrated success sourcing passive candidates
- Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter and applicant tracking systems
Preferred Experience
- Experience recruiting for utility, energy, IT, Technical and Business architecture, engineering, GIS, project management, or consulting organizations
- Experience supporting both contract and permanent hiring
- Familiarity with California employment practices
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
