Brief Description
Join CAMS as a Recruiter responsible for managing full-cycle recruiting across a diverse portfolio of corporate and operational roles supporting power generation operations nationwide. This role requires a high degree of independence, strong judgment, and the ability to prioritize effectively in a decentralized, multi-state, and multi-site environment. The Recruiter will own the recruiting process from sourcing through offer, partnering directly with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, navigate labor market constraints, and deliver timely, high-quality hiring outcomes. Success in this role depends on the ability to balance competing priorities, adapt to evolving business needs, and operate with minimal day-to-day oversight while maintaining a positive and consistent candidate experience.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Own full-cycle recruitment for corporate, technical, and field-based operational roles, including hard-to-fill and high-volume positions.
- Partner with hiring managers to craft precise job descriptions and hiring criteria.
- Develop and implement creative sourcing strategies tailored to role, industry, and organizational needs.
- Post job ads and manage outreach across platforms.
- Screen resumes, select qualified candidates, and coordinate interviews.
- Prepare candidates for interviews through resume reviews, mock interviews, and client insights.
- Provide post-interview follow-ups, recapping discussions and outlining next steps.
- Collaborate on offer details, including salary, incentives, and start dates.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
- Represent CAMS at college job fairs and recruiting events.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
- 2+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience.
- Hands-on experience using Indeed, LinkedIn, and similar platforms to source, engage, and convert candidates for both corporate and field-based roles.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a high requisition load with minimal supervision.
- Experience supporting recruitment across decentralized, multi-state and multi-site organizations, balancing local business needs with consistent recruiting practices.
- Strong time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.
- Goal-oriented mindset with a sense of urgency to achieve metrics.
- Proficiency in applicant-tracking systems (ATS).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage candidates and stakeholders.
- Ability to design innovative sourcing strategies for diverse roles.
Additional Requirements
- Possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record, as this position requires occasional travel for company business.
- Comfortable operating a vehicle as part of job responsibilities and must meet applicable company and insurance requirements.
- Must be legally authorized for employment in the United States and will not require employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future.
