Core Responsibilities

  • Develop processes and procedures for a green field start up manufacturing facility.
  • Build applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; maintaining rapport.
  • Determine applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications.
  • Attract applicants by placing job advertisements, contacting recruiters, using newsgroups and job sites.
  • Determine applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements.
  • Arrange management interviews by coordinating schedules; arrange travel, lodging, meals; escorting applicants to interviews; arranging community tours.
  • Evaluate applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers, interviewing applicants on consistent set of qualifications.
  • Avoid legal challenges by understanding current legislation; enforcing regulations with managers; recommending new procedures; conducting training.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Manage online job board postings, search engine sourcing, resume searching and researching activities in order to maximize candidate recruiting for the group.
  • Collaborate with HR Manager and Recruiters on targeted research projects on key client assignments.
  • Develop, implement and track success of new research methods to reach prospective candidates and clients.
  • Assist HR Manager with reporting, budgeting, planning & P&L analysis as well as special projects.
  • Lead email marketing campaigns to targeted candidates and clients.
  • Present new client and candidate leads to necessary parties.
  • Manage weekly activity reports.
  • Participate in weekly staff meeting.
  • Provide weekly summaries for all associates.
  • Assist associates with client and candidate presentations.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years experience with recruiting coordination in a fast paced environment.
  • Experience in an agency recruiting environment highly preferred.
  • Exceptional organization skills and high attention to detail.
  • Highly skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point, Outlook, Excel etc.).
  • Proven ability to prioritize, multi-task, and be pro-active.
  • Experience staffing manufacturing, steel, and/or tube facilities.
  • Strong communication skills with experience working in a friendly team environment.
