About the role

Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Recruiter responsible for the development and execution of all recruiting strategies and operations within an assigned region. This role ensures an ongoing pool of available and qualified candidates to meet hiring needs for an assigned territory, supporting new business, large-scale events, and acquisitions. Occasional overnight travel (10-15%) may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop specific recruiting strategies to build an ongoing, ready pipeline of qualified candidates using all available recruitment sources, including creative market-specific approaches (e.g., college, grassroots, military, community partnerships).
  • Establish rhythm and routine to deploy quality recruitment campaigns that attract diverse candidates into the talent pipeline.
  • Actively work the candidate pipeline to conduct interviews, select, and make hiring recommendations/offers to meet hiring targets.
  • Partner with the Recruiting Manager and Field Operations Leadership to develop proactive recruitment strategies and meet hiring needs.
  • Attend regional and branch meetings to present strategies for expanding recruitment efforts, review DOMO and Workforce Planning reports, and address upcoming hiring needs.
  • Ensure weekly recruitment reports are pulled from iCIMS and used as a management tool to target critical accounts and recruitment efforts.
  • Develop and maintain a “Recruiting Toolbox” of adaptable resources (e.g., flyers, brochures, methods) and a “Resource Binder” of recruiting techniques, contacts, and effectiveness data.
  • Provide support, training, and assistance to branch staff in managing applicant tracking within the automated system (e.g., posting job openings).
  • Work with Operational leadership to ensure hiring managers participate in iCIMS and the recruitment process in a timely manner.
  • Administer recruiting measures, analyze data, and provide recommendations for adjusting strategies to meet targets, including weekly/monthly reports on hiring, source effectiveness, ROI, and future projections.
  • Assist Branch Operations with in-branch hiring activities, including holding hiring events and supporting peak or special hiring needs.
  • Ensure compliance with contracts, state licensing, EEOC, Department of Labor, and other regulatory requirements related to recruitment.
  • Plan and execute social media and marketing campaigns in partnership with branch and Corporate Marketing.
  • Manage client expectations around recruitment challenges and participate in sales presentations as appropriate.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience recruiting in a high-volume, full-life cycle recruiting environment.
  • Proven experience turning goals into action by creating and executing strategies to achieve objectives.
  • Experience working with advanced recruitment technology (e.g., Internet search engines, social media, ATS).
  • Goal-oriented with demonstrated ability to interact successfully in unfamiliar or new environments to accomplish hiring goals.
  • Ability to take initiative, prioritize multiple competing assignments, and manage deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; able to integrate multiple applications to streamline operations and create meaningful reports.
  • Professional, articulate, and able to use good independent judgment and discretion.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
  • Thorough understanding of state and federal hiring laws, equal opportunity, UGESP, and FLSA.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Recruiting Certifications (e.g., Advanced Internet Recruitment Strategies Certified Internet Recruiter).
