About the role

Amazon University Talent Acquisition (AUTA) is seeking talented recruiters to support attracting and hiring Amazon's future leaders at scale from student talent. The ideal candidate will autonomously earn trust and influence key stakeholders, expertly plan and prioritize against customer targets, manage candidates within tight timelines, and use metrics to drive and showcase results. This role requires thriving in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and excelling at problem-solving. The successful candidate will leverage extensive Talent Acquisition knowledge to build dynamic relationships with business leaders, cross-functional partners, and centralized AUTA program teams.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business and recruiting teams across Amazon to understand student hiring needs.
  • Build innovative strategies to attract, source, assess, and hire students for niche roles across Amazon.
  • Identify opportunities for improving candidate experience and scheduling efficiency.
  • Manage and track all candidate and campus information, consolidate and analyze results, and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Develop recruitment strategies contributing to Amazon's long-range growth, implement new processes, and establish standard operating procedures aligned with Amazon's mission.
  • Collaborate with full lifecycle recruiters, industry hiring teams, and stakeholders to build an early career talent strategy.
  • Manage customer expectations and business goals through bi-weekly business reviews, metrics, and status updates.
  • Create scalable recruiting plans with deliverables, timelines, and formal tracking processes.
  • Participate in special projects, recruiting initiatives, pilots, and process improvement projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 2+ years of technical recruiting experience in high-volume, high-hiring-bar environments.
  • Experience building candidate sourcing and closing strategies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience driving process optimization within recruiting or equivalent environments.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and ability to deliver results.
  • Experience managing multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience working effectively across cross-functional teams and partnering with people at all organizational levels.
  • Corporate and prior university recruiting experience preferred.

Pay

Base salary range: $80,200.00 - $99,100.00 USD annually (Seattle, WA). Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
