About the role
The Recreational Therapist plans, organizes, implements, and evaluates a comprehensive program of therapeutic recreation activities under the supervision of the Clinical Manager. This role involves caring for psychiatric patients, therapeutically interacting with adult and geriatric patients, significant others, and other healthcare team members, and demonstrating knowledge of specific psychosocial conditions and treatment therapies for the served patient populations.
Requirements
- 4-year/Bachelor’s Degree, required
- Recreation Therapist or Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist certification, required
- Crisis Intervention Prevention (CPI) certification, required
- Experience preferred
