Recreation Supervisor

SUMMARY

The Recreation Supervisor will be responsible for creating personalized guest interactions, ensuring the accuracy of the bike/golf cart rental process, being competent in all budgetary financials, overseeing arrival and departure of all guest equipment, coaching Associates, and maintaining proper record keeping.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Responsible for scheduling associates
• Overseeing department cleanliness and department organization
• Ensuring all standards are met
• C competent handling guest complaints in a professional manner
• This person will be able to train Associates
• They will be a primary resource regarding local weather conditions, incoming and outgoing tides, leisure land and water activities, and bike and golf cart rentals.

QUALIFICATIONS

• College Degree or educational equivalent preferred
• 2 years of managerial experience
• Luxury hospitality experience is a plus
• Strong passion for customer service; experience handling and resolving guest concerns in a timely manner
• Must be organized
• Strong verbal communication skills—ability to communicate effectively with guests and vendors
• Have a vast array of knowledge about recreational activities applicable to the area.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Work tasks are performed indoors and outdoors
• No effective protection from weather
• Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 4 hours in length
• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis
• Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs frequently
• Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill equipment handling tasks.
