Recreation Assistant Manager

What You’ll Be Doing

• Help oversee the daily operations of the Recreation Department, including the Recreation Building, Nature Center, playgrounds, sports courts, fitness areas, Skate Park, Observation Deck, and more.
• Plan and help bring to life some of Ocean Lakes’ biggest events and traditions, including Beach N’ Boogie, Easter celebrations, Craft Fair, Halloweekends, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Polar Plunge, and many more exciting activities throughout the year!
• Inspire, coach, schedule, and support a talented team of full-time, seasonal, and part-time recreation staff.
• Aid in hiring, onboarding, training, and team development.
• Manage department schedules, budgets, inventory, equipment, and recreation facilities.
• Ensure all recreation areas are clean, safe, organized, and ready to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Work closely with other departments to create memorable experiences for our guests every single day.
