Recreation Assistant

Job Summary

We are now hiring a Recreation Assistant to join our team. The position offers a competitive wage range of $16.90-$19.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Lead group and independent activities for the resident population.
• Aid in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of recreational, social, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual programs aligned with the resident's assessment and care plan.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to plan and lead groups.
• Able to multi-task and accommodate individual needs.

Qualifications

• Nice to have: Experience in a skilled nursing environment or working with the elderly population, experience in activity programming, and experience with dementia care or long-term care.
