Recreation Aide, PT

Wage: $18.46 per hour

Schedule

• Part Time, 20 hours a week
• Monday 3pm to 9pm
• Friday 2pm to 9pm
• Saturday 12pm to 8pm
• Sunday 1pm to 8pm

Responsibilities

• Monitor, plan, and direct students engaged in center-sponsored activities both on and off center.
• Plan, implement, and coordinate a diversified program that will attract voluntary participation.
• Chaperone students to recreation functions both on and off center.
• Plan and conduct various activities to enhance student retention and meet all students' needs.
• Participate in Career Development Services System (CDSS) by creating positive peer leadership and role modeling techniques through activities both on and off center.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One (1) year recreation experience or verified voluntary experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Computer proficiency
