Recreation Aide, Flagstone Family Center
Who We Are
CAMBA is a community organization dedicated to building an inclusive New York City where all children and adults have access to the resources and supports they need to thrive. We offer more than 180 integrated programs in areas such as Education & Youth Development, Family Support, Job Training & Employment Support Services, Health, Housing, and Legal Services. We serve over 72,000 individuals and families annually across 100 locations, including 10,000 youth. Over 85% of our families live in poverty, reflecting the challenges faced by nearly 1.7 million New Yorkers.
We operate six transitional housing facilities for families with children experiencing homelessness, funded by the New York City Department of Homeless Services. These facilities provide a supportive, structured, therapeutic, safe, and drug-free environment. We offer comprehensive case management and housing placement services to help families transition to permanent housing. Additionally, we provide recreation and evidence-based programming to enhance these services.
