Duties

  • Must be able to swim and participate in the lifeguard certifications.
  • Works under close supervision wherein the work is closely reviewed/monitored and detailed guidance provided.
  • Participates in all required training (emergency rescue drills, emergency action plan simulations).
  • Mandatory certification must be complete within 30 calendar days of employment.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Conditions of employment include Direct Deposit and Social Security Card, meeting qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position, a one-year probationary period, satisfactory completion of an employment verification (E-Verify) check, satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks, continuous exposure to sun and prolonged periods of high temperature and humidity, continuous exposure to infectious disease requiring Hepatitis B vaccination series within 24-hour period, and being willing to accept a flexible appointment.
  • Resumes must be two pages (or less) and clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and abilities as they pertain to this position.

  • Area of Consideration: This job is open to candidates who reside within 80 miles of Fort Huachuca. (Military Spouse Preference (MSP) and Involuntarily Separated Military Preference (ISMP) eligible candidates are included in the area of consideration.)
