Area of Consideration: Worldwide (includes Military Spouse Preference (MSP), Involuntarily Separated Military Preference (ISMP), and Family Member Preference eligible candidates).

Responsibilities

  • Issues tools, equipment, and games to authorized customers.
  • Checks identification, collects fees when appropriate, and completes required documentation.
  • Assists in directing patrons, scheduling the use of courts, lanes, and equipment in a recreation facility.
  • Decorates party rooms and maintains cleanliness of assigned work areas.
  • Provides facility and program information to patrons.

Requirements

  • Direct Deposit and Social Security Card are required.
  • Must meet qualification, eligibility, and background requirements for this position.
  • Must satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
  • Subject to pre-employment checks, including child care checks, in accordance with AR 215-3, para. 2.
  • May require a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card (CAC) for physical access to federally-controlled facilities.
  • Must be available to work irregular hours, evenings, and/or weekends.
  • Duties involve working in both indoor and outdoor environments.
  • Appointment subject to a favorable suitability determination.

Additional Information

  • This job is part of a pay-banded system.
  • Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid.
  • Access to certain federal facilities may require a REAL ID-compliant driver’s license/ID or an Enhanced Driver’s License (EDL) from WA, MI, MN, NY, or VT.
  • Your application remains valid for 90 days and may be referred to hiring officials as new vacancies arise for up to 90 days after the closing date.
  • Refusal to participate in established recruitment procedures (e.g., interviews) may result in termination of Spouse Employment Preference (SEP) entitlement.
