About the role

Working for Army Non-Appropriated Funds (NAF) supports communities comprised of military and civilian personnel and their families, contributing to the Department of Defense's overall mission. This role offers opportunities for professional development, including training, education, and certification programs, as well as access to on-base facilities such as fitness centers and libraries.

Responsibilities

  • Keeps flow of play moving on the golf course and assists customers in locating lost balls to maintain pace.
  • Assists in pulling up and staging the fleet for play, as well as washing and parking the fleet at the end of the day.
  • May assist with picking the driving range and performing simple repair and maintenance tasks.
  • Provides facility and program information to patrons.

Requirements

  • Direct Deposit and Social Security Card are required.
  • Must meet qualification, eligibility, and background requirements for the position.
  • Must satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
  • May require completing a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally controlled facilities.
  • Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks, including childcare checks.
  • Appointment subject to favorable suitability determination.
  • Must be available to work day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts based on organizational needs.
  • Access to certain federal facilities may require a REAL ID-compliant driver's license/ID or an Enhanced Driver's License (EDL).

  • No prior experience is required.
