About the role
An Adult Residential Support Professional provides direct care in a new residential treatment program for adult males, supporting recovery through supervision, encouragement, and life-skills coaching.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and support residents in a structured environment
- Serve as a positive role model and provide daily encouragement
- Maintain accurate records and document observations
- Support treatment plans and resident goals
- Assist with medication monitoring and administration
- Help with housekeeping, laundry, meals, and daily activities
- Transport residents to appointments and community events
- Facilitate educational and life-skills activities
- Respond to emergencies and ensure safety
- Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Experience in human services, behavioral health, or residential care preferred
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
