Recovery Support Specialist - Graveyard

About the Role

Recovery Support Specialists provide guidance, support, and encouragement to individuals seeking to rebuild their lives. As part of the substance‑use‑disorder treatment team, they develop respectful, professional relationships with clients in a residential setting and help ensure client safety and successful recovery.

Responsibilities

• Develop respectful, professional relationships with clients to support their recovery journey.
• Ensure the safety of clients in the residential setting.
• Oversee medication calls and related activities.
• Coordinate client medical and other appointments.
• Provide transportation for clients when needed.
• Maintain thorough documentation, record‑keeping, and communication with the treatment team.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
• Must obtain WA Agency Affiliated Counselor Registration within 90 days of hire.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of related experience.
• Strong customer‑service skills.
• Ability to work with a low‑income, multi‑ethnic patient population and relate respectfully to diverse backgrounds.
• Self‑directed, confident individual who can work both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication, organization, documentation, and record‑keeping abilities.

Pay

Wage range: $18.50 – $19.92 per hour (shift differential provided for swing & graveyard shifts).

Schedule

Full‑time, 1.0 FTE. Saturday – Wednesday, 11:30 pm – 7:30 am.
