About the role
Providing supervision, support, and positive role modeling to residents in a substance use treatment facility.
Responsibilities
- Build relationships with residents
- Monitor and document resident behaviors
- Support treatment goals
- Respond to emergencies
- Administer medications
- Facilitate daily activities
- Collect urine specimens
- Lead educational groups
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass background and medical clearances
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience in behavioral health or related fields
- Coursework in Social Work or Psychology
- DHS 83 training or willingness to complete it
Work Environment
Residential setting involving physical activity, outdoor supervision, and local travel to support residents.
