Recovery Support Professional - Full-Time

Role: Adult Residential Support Professional (2nd shift) Responsibilities: Provide supervision, support, and positive role modeling to residents in a substance use treatment facility. Build professional relationships, observe and document behaviors, support treatment goals, respond to emergencies, administer medications, assist with daily activities, transport residents, collect urine specimens, facilitate groups, and maintain confidentiality. Ensure safety and adherence to program policies while supporting residents’ recovery and personal growth. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, ability to pass background and medical clearances, strong communication and teamwork skills, and ability to maintain professional boundaries. Preferred experience in behavioral health or related fields, relevant coursework, and training certifications such as DHS 83 are advantageous. Skills: Effective communication, problem-solving, crisis response, and teamwork skills are essential. Ability to work in a residential setting, often involving standing, walking, and outdoor activities. Additional Details: This role requires a male staff member able to conduct urine analyses due to contractual requirements.
