About the role
Providing supervision, support, and positive role modeling to residents in a substance use treatment facility.
Responsibilities
- Build relationships with residents
- Monitor resident behaviors and support treatment goals
- Respond to emergencies
- Administer medications
- Facilitate activities
- Collect urine samples, including conducting observed urine analyses
- Maintain confidentiality
- Assist with daily living activities
- Transport residents
- Participate in meetings and training
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass background and medical clearances
- Strong communication skills
- Experience in behavioral health or related fields (preferred)
- Relevant training (preferred)
