Recovery Support Professional - Full-Time

Role: Adult Residential Support Professional (2nd shift) Responsibilities: Provide supervision, support, and positive role modeling to residents in a substance use treatment facility; build professional relationships; observe, document, and report resident behaviors and progress; assist residents in achieving treatment goals; respond to emergencies; monitor/administer medications; support daily activities like meal prep, housekeeping, and transportation; collect urine samples and administer breathalyzer tests; facilitate educational and life skills groups; maintain confidentiality; attend meetings and trainings; perform additional duties as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or GEDValid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and good driving recordAbility to pass background and medical clearancesStrong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skillsAbility to maintain professional boundaries Preferred qualifications include experience in substance use or behavioral health, college coursework in related fields, and DHS 83 training or willingness to complete it. Skills & Work Environment: Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and assist with outdoor activities; may require local travel. The position requires compassionate support within a recovery-focused residential setting.
