About the role
The Recovery Specialist (Women's Program) plays a crucial role in supporting women in recovery from substance abuse. This position involves providing individual counseling sessions, group therapy sessions, and coordinating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions tailored to the needs of women in recovery.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Provide support and guidance to clients to help them maintain sobriety and improve their overall well-being.
- Participate in regular team meetings to discuss client progress and treatment strategies.
- Document all sessions and client interactions in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
Requirements
- A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience working with individuals in recovery programs.
- Licensed or licensed eligible to practice in the state of [State Name].
