Recovery Specialist III

About the role

The Recovery Specialist III position is a key role at Cherry Hill Sobering. This position involves monitoring and observing clients to ensure their safety, stability, and compliance with program requirements. It also includes creating and maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for all clients.

Responsibilities

• Maintain facility cleanliness and organization daily
• Monitor and observe Sobering Center client behavior and activity to ensure clients are safe, accounted for, and stable
• Create and maintain a safe, welcoming environment for all clients at all times
• Communicate daily needs or observational concerns or impressions to Health and/or SUD staff
• Provide assistance with transportation and emergency response
• De-escalate emotionally unstable client behavior
• Assist with meal preparation and meal distribution daily
• Attend to clients' needs while maintaining daily activity schedule
• Transport clients to local facilities when needed
• Respond to emergency needs as directed by Program Manager
• Assist SUD or Health Center staff with referral and/or transfer to continuing care

Qualifications

• 2+ years of client monitoring experience working directly with SUD populations
• Demonstrated competency in using technology
• May be registered with a state certifying SUD body (CCAPP/CADTP/CAADE)
• Must have a CA driver's license and good driving record in good standing

Pay

$24.00-$26.00/hr. based on experience and qualifications.
