Recovery Coach

Key Responsibilities

• Provide recovery coaching services to a minimum of 20 individuals
• Facilitate goal-setting through SMART goals and wellness planning
• Offer education on relapse prevention, harm reduction, and recovery strategies
• Conduct weekly coaching sessions and at least one in-person meeting monthly
• Connect individuals with healthcare, housing, employment, and community supports
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in alignment with agency standards
• Engage with the broader recovery community and lead information sessions

What You Are

• A High School Diploma or GED
• A minimum of 2 years in sustained recovery from addiction
• Completion of Recovery Coach Academy & Ethical Considerations training (or ability to complete within 4 weeks of hire)
• A Certified Addiction Recovery Coach (CARC) or working toward certification within 1–2 years
• A knowledge of diverse recovery pathways (12-step, peer-based, harm reduction, etc.)
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
