The Records Management Specialist I is responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's records in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain electronic and paper records
- Ensure records are accessible and retrievable
- Follow policies and procedures for record retention and disposal
- Respond to requests for records from internal and external parties
- Train colleagues on record management practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Library Science, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in records management
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Qualifications
- Knowledge of records management standards and best practices
- Experience with record retention schedules and disposal processes
- Familiarity with recordkeeping systems and software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Skills
