About the role

The Records Management Specialist I is responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's records in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain electronic and paper records
  • Ensure records are accessible and retrievable
  • Follow policies and procedures for record retention and disposal
  • Respond to requests for records from internal and external parties
  • Train colleagues on record management practices

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Library Science, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in records management
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of records management standards and best practices
  • Experience with record retention schedules and disposal processes
  • Familiarity with recordkeeping systems and software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Skills
