Records Management Specialist

About the role

Assistance Plus is seeking a Records Management Specialist to join our growing Quality Assurance Department. This position will audit client records in accordance with MaineCare, Licensing, HIPAA, all other applicable regulatory bodies for compliance, and all internal agency policies. The role involves completing internal programmatic audits, reviewing documentation for accuracy, scanning, coding, verifying, and client record disclosures.

Responsibilities

• Audit client records for compliance with MaineCare, Licensing, HIPAA, and other regulatory bodies
• Review documentation for accuracy and completeness
• Scan, code, verify, and disclose client records
• Complete internal programmatic audits

Requirements

• Proof of vehicle insurance at $50K/$100K and a valid Maine driver’s license
• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's Degree preferred)
• Minimum of two years of experience/knowledge of behavioral health services
• Advanced skill level with Microsoft Office Word and Excel
• Must be 18 years of age or older

Schedule

Full-time position (40 hours per week) located at our Benton Office.
