Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle of organizational records, including creation, classification, storage, retrieval, and disposition in accordance with applicable policies
  • Maintain accurate records inventories and file plans to ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements
  • Track and manage customer property and equipment, ensuring accountability, proper documentation, and audit readiness
  • Conduct periodic compliance audits of records and property management processes; identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions
  • Support Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests by locating, reviewing, and coordinating the release of responsive records
  • Ensure adherence to IC records management policies, security requirements, and data handling procedures
  • Cook up with internal stakeholders to improve records management systems, workflows, and property tracking processes
  • Prepare reports and documentation for leadership, audits, and inspections
  • Maintain documentation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and provide training or guidance to personnel as needed

Requirements

  • A High School Diploma and eight (8) years of combined experience in the below OR a Bachelor’s degree in Library Science, Information Management, Business Administration, Records Management, or a related field and five (5) years of combined experience in:
    • Records control and lifecycle management
    • Property tracking and accountability
    • Compliance audits
    • Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) support
  • US citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required

Desired Experience

  • Certified Records Manager (CRM) or equivalent certification
  • Strong knowledge of records management principles, retention schedules, and compliance frameworks
  • Experience with electronic records management systems and property tracking tools
  • Familiarity with FOIA processes and document review procedures
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain audit readiness
  • Effective communication and coordination skills across teams and stakeholders

Pay

Pay Range: $49,996.80 - $290,004.00
