Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Reconstruction Technician with plumbing experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in residential and commercial reconstruction projects, including drywall, flooring, carpentry, painting, and basic to intermediate plumbing repairs related to restoration and rebuild projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform reconstruction and repair work following water, fire, mold, and storm damage.
• Complete demolition, framing, drywall installation and finishing.
• Install and repair flooring, trim, doors, cabinets, and other finish carpentry items.
• Perform plumbing-related repairs and installations, including:
• Replacing water supply lines and drain lines.
• Installing plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, faucets, and shower components.
• Troubleshooting basic plumbing issues related to restoration projects.
• Read and follow work orders, project scopes, and construction plans.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site.
• Communicate professionally with customers, project managers, and team members.
• Ensure all work meets company quality standards and local building codes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of reconstruction, construction, or restoration experience.
• Plumbing experience required.
• Knowledge of residential building practices.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Ability to lift 75+ pounds and perform physically demanding work.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must have a clean criminal background (no felony convictions).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the restoration industry (water, fire, mold, or storm damage).
• Certifications such as IICRC, OSHA, or plumbing-related certifications.
• Experience with drywall finishing, flooring installation, and finish carpentry.
