We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Reconstruction Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will execute a wide range of restoration and renovation projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. Responsibilities
- Perform demolition, framing, drywall installation, and finishing to prepare spaces for renovation or restoration.
- Install and repair fixtures, cabinetry, doors, flooring, and trim carpentry components with precision.
- Conduct electrical work, plumbing, painting, caulking, stucco application, and masonry tasks as required for project completion.
- Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely to facilitate construction activities on-site.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute project plans.
- Manage construction site safety protocols and ensure compliance with all safety regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to coordinate schedules and ensure quality standards are met throughout each phase of work.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction or remodeling projects with a strong background in carpentry, drywall installation, flooring, roofing, and masonry.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating processes.
- Hands-on experience operating power tools and heavy equipment safely in various construction environments.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing installations, fixture mounting, and restoration techniques is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform detailed craftsmanship in building finishing tasks such as plastering, caulking, tile laying, glass installation, and hardscape work.
- Prior site supervision or construction management experience is a plus but not required.
