Key Responsibilities
- Manage reconstruction projects from scope development through final completion.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring clear communication and a professional experience throughout the project.
- Review project scopes, estimates, schedules, and documentation to ensure accurate project execution.
- Cook up with Reconstruction Superintendents, Trade Specialists, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to maintain project progress.
- Develop and maintain project schedules while monitoring deadlines, milestones, and overall project performance.
- Communicate project updates, changes, challenges, and expectations with customers and leadership.
- Review job site progress and ensure work is being completed according to scope, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Identify potential project issues and work collaboratively to develop solutions.
- Maintain accurate project documentation including photos, notes, change orders, and progress updates.
- Aid in material selections, ordering, scheduling, and coordination to keep projects moving efficiently.
- Ensure completed work meets Sasser Restoration’s expectations for quality, craftsmanship, and customer satisfaction.
- Support a positive team environment through clear communication, organization, and accountability.
- Follow company processes, safety procedures, and restoration industry standards.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience managing residential or commercial construction, reconstruction, or restoration projects.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, building practices, and project sequencing.
- Experience managing multiple projects from start to finish.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage changing project needs.
- Excellent communication skills with customers, field teams, subcontractors, and leadership.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy, documentation, and quality control.
- Ability to identify challenges, evaluate options, and implement practical solutions.
- Comfortable working independently while following established company processes.
- Strong customer service mindset and ability to build trust with homeowners and clients.
- Proficient with construction documentation, scheduling, and project management tools.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Previous experience in insurance restoration/reconstruction (preferred).
- Experience with Xactimate estimating software (preferred).
- Knowledge of insurance claims processes and restoration documentation (preferred).
- IICRC certifications or other construction-related certifications (preferred).
- Experience managing subcontractors and multiple active reconstruction projects (preferred).
- OSHA certifications (preferred).
