Project Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a Project Manager for a 3-month Contract-to-Hire (CTH) role in Richmond, VA, to lead a Manufacturing LIMS project. The role involves owning delivery, financials, and client relationships. A background check and meet-and-greet are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end LIMS implementation projects (e.g., STARLIMS, BIOVIA One Lab, Labware LIMS), including requirements gathering, system configuration, validation, deployment, and post-go-live support.
• Analyze laboratory workflows and translate business and regulatory requirements into functional system designs and technical specifications.
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, risks, and stakeholder communications to ensure successful delivery.
• Design and validate requirements for enhancements or interface configurations in coordination with Offshore and Onsite teams, and discuss implementation plans.
• Develop validation strategies, author/execute UAT scripts, and create traceability matrices.
• Develop and execute test plans to ensure system quality and performance.
• Manage defect tracking, testing cycles, change control processes, and system enhancements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Estimate costs for enhancements during the project lifecycle.
• Manage resource allocations to the project.
• Participate in SCRUM ceremonies with the client and business stakeholders.
• Work with the development team to fulfill business requirements.
• Assist in creating proposals and estimates for Professional Service projects, including project extensions and new proposals with Sales and Presales.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Project Management, Financial Management, Stakeholder Management, and Technical Delivery of PLM and BIOVIA programs.
